The upper features improved, wider mesh perforations that allow a constant flow of cool air throughout the shoe, keeping heat build-up to a minimum and making sure you stay cool, dry, and comfortable at all times. Further enhancing the upper, are the engineered 3D overlays that provide strategic flexibility and strengthen the structure of the shoe. The print overlay shape is designed to encourage a natural running motion by allowing the upper to flex in just the right places so that you can enjoy endless flexibility with uncompromising support. Finishing the upper is an extremely secure lacing system that will embrace the midfoot, providing a secure and steady fit reducing any unwanted movement within the shoe so you can enjoy uninterrupted strides.
PWRRUN Midsole
Using their innovative PWRRUN midsole in the Guide 15, Saucony has developed a midsole that will give you the next generation of cushioning. PWRRUN provides lightweight and springy cushioning to keep your feet comfortable at all times with just the right amount of softness, yet stays responsive enough to tackle as many miles as you wish. Utilising improved FormFit technology that combined a new and streamlined mesh to optimize breathability with a lighter, thinner internal construction for a comfortable and custom fit. The dynamic fit system adapts to the shape and motion of the runner’s foot, eliminating any unwanted movement within the shoe so that performance is optimised. Not only does FormFit work to provide a comfortable and supportive fit but, it is also highly flexible and hardwearing increasing the overall durability and comfort over long periods of time.
Durable Rubber Outsole
A newly designed outsole for the Saucony Guide 15 has been constructed to allow greater flexibility through your forefoot. This will allow your foot to travel through your gait cycle more efficiently. Alongside this, lightweight a HOLLOW-TECH guidance system has been introduced which will provide underfoot support without causing restrictions to your stride. With weight-saving in mind, the shoes have strategically placed durable rubber in the areas you need it most. The rubber construction can form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces, providing you with one less thing to worry about. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base for you to push off from. Reinforced in high wear areas the outsole will withstand long-lasting wear. Lastly, multi-directional grooves are placed strategically to further secure your feet to the ground and will improve efficiency in takeoffs, landings, and changes of direction.
