Engineered Mesh Upper
Constructed using a breathable engineered mesh fabric, the uppers of the Gaviota Running Shoes provide feet with a cosy, comfortable experience. Not only will they provide you a sock-like, secure fit, but the shoes will also ensure an optimal level of air can flow through the shoes, in order to create a breathable, cool experience for feet to thrive. The shoes have recycled polyester laces for a traditional, yet sustainable lace-up construction to help the feet remain locked in and secure, therefore preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring. Preventing irritation and abrasion from occurring, the shoes have a plushy collar and single-sided tongue gusset, offering improvements in comfort to their predecessors. Finally, a heel pull tab provides you assistance with putting on the shoes.
CMEVA Midsole
To provide you plush, comfortable cushioning and exceptional support and stability, the Gaviota 4’s have a J-Frame midsole. The J-Frame technology delivers a stable platform for those looking to prevent and combat over-pronation by using firmer foam on the medial side of the short, in combination with additional rubber for durability for a comfortable, confident running experience. Alongside this, the shoes have a Midfoot H-Frame, providing additional upper support as well as, a midfoot lockdown. The shoes also have a late-stage Meta-Rocker for a smooth ride and additional forefoot support.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Enhancing underfoot stability and traction on varied terrain, the Hoka Gaviota 4’s have a durable rubber outsole. The shoes’ high-wear rubber compound help to ensure the shoes have exceptional durability and will provide you grip throughout your run.
